April 8th, 2015 was a day we will never forget.  The doctor confirmed that dad had ALS, often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease.  Today marks day 14 of his diagnosis and he still tries to be that strong, faithful man that was my first love.  In the last few weeks, dad has taught us even more how important it is to have faith in God.  As dad begins to face this  "bump in the road" (he would use that analogy a lot when we were kids), we will keep you updated through this blog.
